Presentation of the 2012 BoatUS National Flagship: Sea Scout Ship Albatross

Congratulations to the Sea Scout Ship Albatross from Martinez, CA on earning the 2012 BoatUS National Flagship Award. Since the National Flagship rating was re-instituted in 2002 by BoatUS, four California Sea Scout Ships have been recognized for outstanding service to youth as National Flagships. The Albatross was presented the BoatUS National Flagship trophy by Bryan Dove from BoatUS and Western Region Commodore Glen Meskimen at the Ancient Mariner Regatta Awards Ceremony onboard the USS Hornet in Alameda, CA.

Congratulations to the Albatross and the 2012 National Flagship Fleet for a job well done.
