Over the course of my National Boatswain term, I have worked to establish a social media plan and social media presence for the Sea Scout Program. The next step in the plan is to include you, the Sea Scouts, into the process. One of the main goals of our social media presence is to share the Sea Scout experience from the eyes of a Sea Scout and our Social Media Team will do just this. The National Social Media Team, lead by myself, will be responsible for creating and publishing all of the content on our Social Media sites including our Facebook Page, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube Chanel, and Blog(seascoutblog.org). We are looking for about 10 enthusiastic Sea Scouts that represent each region to make up the team. I hope that you will consider applying to become a member of the team whether you are an enthusiastic beginner or certified expert, we need scouts of all skill levels.
The team will meet via teleconference once a month and each member will be work on projects that will take about 2 hours a month in the beginning.
